Ethan Book has run, unsuccessfully, for City Council, mayor and for the state legislature. He is challenging state Rep. Christopher Rosario for the fourth time. Despite an ongoing feud with local party leadership, Book recently won the Republican primary to challenge Rosario.
If elected, Book, who runs New England Limousine Service of Fairfield, said one of his priorities will be fiscal responsibility.
Book also believes Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont’s executive orders curtailing certain “individual liberties” during the COVID-19 pandemic were “over-broad and not consistently designed.”
He also wants to reform the criminal justice system, believing the courts are biased in favor of corporations, governments and professional attorneys.
