SCOTCH PLAINS-- Scotch Plains Recreation Department has announced a Senior Book Delivery Service as part of the Mayor's Wellness Campaign Initiative in Partnership with the Scotch Plains Public Library.
This program is open to men and women age 55 and older who reside in Scotch Plains and have a library card. (Contact the Scotch Plains Public Library to obtain a library card.) Deliveries and returns are scheduled for Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and the seniors may borrow books, DVDs, and audiobooks. Large print books are available.
How to Participate:
- It is FREE to participate, but registration through Community Pass is required.
- Participants can register on Community Pass themselves or can call the Recreation Department to register over the phone.
- Once registered, participants must contact the Scotch Plains Public Library to reserve items.
