In the latest episode of Humboldt Last Week
Humboldt County export Kortney Olson can now add an Amazon list-topping book to her catalog of flexes, reaching number one on the company’s “New Thought” section.
The St. Bernard’s grad released “Crushing It: How I Crushed Diet Culture, Addiction & the Patriarchy” on January 18.
“Thank you so much for your support,” Kortney wrote on social media after the book reached the milestone.
The book details her early rise to a Stanford scholarship, her life’s lows such as drug addiction and rape victimhood, and then her resilient rise again.
“She has been there,” reads the synopsis. “She has suffered. She has triumphed. And now so can you.”
In the past Olson has also garnered attention for achievements such as a nod from Forbes for her clothing company, crushing watermelons with her thighs on late-night TV, hanging out with Arnold Schwarzenegger, bodybuilding, and critiquing societal norms.
