The North Olympic Library System hosts four virtual Book Discussion Group meetings each month, and all are welcome to participate. Register at nols.org/book-discussion-groups to receive the Zoom meeting information.
Paperback copies of the upcoming book selections will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussion, during curbside service hours at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., or Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis. Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog.
The July schedule includes:
• 2nd Saturday Book Discussion Group — “There There” by Tommy Orange, 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 10; paperback copies available at Sequim Library
• 2nd Tuesday Book Discussion Group — “Lost City of the Monkey God” by Douglas Preston, 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library
• Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group — “The Girl with the Louding Voice” by Abi Daré, 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28; paperback copies available at Sequim Library
• Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group — “The Island of Sea Women” by Lisa See, 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28; paperback copies available at Port Angeles Library
