We are pleased to offer a beautiful iconic Maine watercolor by Boothbay artist Herb Maynard (1929 – 2007) as a holiday fundraiser. This is the perfect gift for anyone who wants to be reminded of our gorgeous Maine coast whether they are here or far away. Herb Maynard taught at the University of Maine and is famous for his maritime watercolors. The actor Burl Ives collected Maynard’s work. The painting, donated by a supporter, will be on display at the museum until a winner is drawn on Dec. 15. The signed watercolor is matted and framed. The framed dimensions are 12” H x 17” W.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at the museum during open hours Or send a check to BRHS, P.O. Box 272, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538, along with a phone number or email so we can acknowledge your request and raffle tickets for beautiful watercolor!
