Talk about a homecoming.
United States goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, who was born in Highlands Ranch and went to Arapahoe High School, stood on his head Sunday in the CONCACAF Nations League championship game against Mexico at Empower Field at Mile High.
Horvath, who came on in the 68th minute after starter Zach Steffan went down with an injury, stopped a penalty kick from Mexico captain Andrés Guardado to keep a 3-2 lead for the Americans in extra time at the end of the game. The U.S. would hold on for the victory.
