Library Book Sale, 2-5 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The October book sale, hosted by the Friends of the Cloquet Public Library will be held in the Friends Corridor. Wear a mask if you are unvaccinated, bring your own bags, observe social distancing, and put your payment in the donation box (no change will be made). Outdoor Fall Fun Day, 2-4 p.m., Zion Lutheran Church. This joint event between Zion and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is meant for all ages, held outdoors. There will be active options, crafts, a campfire, snacks and more. Bring a mask. Cancellation or changes will be announced by 11 a.m. Oct. 30. For more information, visit www.zioncloquet.org.

Teen Reads, 4 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The library’s Teen Librarian will read aloud a chapter from an age-appropriate book. The event is free to attend.

Storytime, 10-10:30 a.m., Cloquet Public Library. The free event is for children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers.

Tech & Coffee, 9-11 a.m., Chickadee Coffeehouse & Deli, Barnum. Barnum Community Education hosts the free event. Community members can drop in to get help with their cell phones, e-readers, tablets, laptops, social media platforms and more. Community education staff and Nathan Rimolde from RTS will be on hand to answer questions.

Ping Pong & Air Hockey, 4-5 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. Teenagers are invited to play ping pong and air hockey at the library free of charge.

Hunter’s Supper, 4-7 p.m., Cromwell Park Pavilion. The annual supper hosted by the Cromwell Area Community Club consists of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, roll and pumpkin pie. Tickets are $12 for adults; $5 ages 5-10; and 4 and under are free.Tickets can be purchased the day of the event. All proceeds go towards Cromwell community improvement. People don’t have to be hunters to attend.

Red Bird Bazaar, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cromwell-Wright School. Admission is $1. Children 12 and under are free. Lunch will be available from the Cromwell-Wright Student Council.

Operation Community Connect Resource Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cloquet Armory, 801 Highway 33 S. United Way of Carlton County hosts the free event, which will provide information on veterans’ services, housing, child care, senior services, food access, education, mental health services, disability services and more. Free lunch and childcare are available. Everyone is welcome.

Digital Wellness for Teens, Tweens and Caregivers, 6-7:30 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. The Carlton County Youth Collaborative will discuss digital wellness. Caregivers can attend with their child or come alone. A light meal will be served and child care will be provided for younger siblings or family members.

Cloquet Al-Anon, Tuesdays and Fridays, 10-11 a.m.,103 10th St., Cloquet. Closed meetings. The only membership requirement is that a friend or relative have a problem with alcoholism. Call 218-879-9884.
