The public is invited to help the Butler Area School District fill the shelves of the library at Broad Street Elementary School.
In order to realize this goal, the district is currently holding a book drive for new or very gently used books through this Monday.
Books can be dropped off at any Butler School District building with a need for books appropriate for kids birth through 12 years old. Nonfiction books and current book series are desired while encyclopedias will not be accepted.
Monetary donations are also being accepted. Checks should be made payable to Butler Area School District with Broad Street Library in the memo line. Any books unable to be used will be donated to the Butler BookStop Program.
